Welcome!I'm Kerry, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, and I'm here to support you through whatever challenges you may be facing.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and reaching out for help is a brave first step, one that I appreciate isn’t always easy. I'll offer you a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My counselling approach is known as integrative, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models to tailor our work to your individual needs. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, and life’s everyday difficulties, whether that’s relationship issues, work stress, simply feeling stuck or lost or something else completely. Sometimes it starts out as one thing, and then we realise it might be something else altogether. I have also worked with survivors of domestic violence and abuse, helping people rebuild their sense of safety, identity, and trust. My passion lies in helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and feel more confident in yourself and your choices. Together, we can explore what’s on your mind, or what you feel is holding you back and work towards creating a more fulfilling and peaceful life. I believe that you are your own expert, so it’s not for me to tell you what to do, but rather help you explore what your options are, or ways that you can move forward. I offer online sessions, which means you can access support from anywhere in the UK, wherever you feel most comfortable. I am also now able to offer face-to-face sessions in a beautiful wellbeing centre just outside of Derby City Centre. Therapy should be accessible, and I’m here to make sure distance is never a barrier to getting the help you need. I offer a free, no-obligation initial consultation so you can get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you. It’s a chance for us to connect and see what support might look like moving forward, there’s no pressure, just a friendly conversation. When you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen... |
